Take in the incredible views from above as we take a scenic flight over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Trilby Station has 10kms of walking tracks along the banks of The Darling River, a state of the art modern shearing shed and aviation hanger for the working machines of the bush. day 1

Sydney to Trilby Station

Our crew welcome you at Bankstown Airport (Sydney) before departing on this exciting Outback adventure.

Take in the aerial views from our private aircraft as we head west towards Cobar and Louth. On landing at Louth, enjoy a drink at Shindy’s Inn, overlooking The Darling River. We take an Outback dirt track to Trilby Station, a family owned 320,000 acre sheep station. This overnight stop focuses on offering the true Australian Outback station experience, gaining insight into life on a remote sheep property. Immerse yourself in the landscape, appreciating a bush sunset with drinks and canapés. Over a home cooked dinner under the stars you will hear about life on the station from fifth generation farmers, The Murray Family.

Trilby to Longreach

This morning we board our private aircraft for Longreach – the town where Qantas commenced operations over 100 years ago. Flying north through Queensland’s Channel Country, with endless horizons filled with deep red sand hills and orange escarpments. Tonight we spend the evening amongst nature watching the sunset as we cruise the Thomson River.  There are endless photo opportunities on this gentle sunset cruise before we go ashore for a traditional Outback dinner and show, under the stars – a night to remember.

Day in Longreach

Enjoy an Outback sunrise over the surrounding Mitchell Grass Plains. This morning we visit the Qantas Museum for a private tour celebrating the century-old history of the airline. An afternoon of discovery awaits at the legendary Stockman’s Hall of Fame, which showcases the history and culture of rural Australia.

Longreach to Alice Springs

Today we make our way further towards the centre of Australia as we fly west into the Northern Territory. Our flight path takes us over the expansive Simpson Desert, a unique landscape of sand dunes, desert grass and bush. We spend the night in the central Australian city of Alice Springs.

Alice Springs to Uluru

After a morning of exploring we make our way towards the Red Centre – Uluru. Get set for an evening of delight at the breath taking Sounds of Silence dinner. Admire the ever changing colour of the rock as the sun sets upon it. Indulging in canapés and sparkling wine overlooking spectacular Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, this evening will be one to remember.

Uluru to Birdsville

An early start to witness the natural splendour of an Uluru sunrise. Our guide will share their knowledge as we drive around the superstar rock, stopping at waterholes and rock art. Our private aircraft will then fly us to a little oasis in the desert for lunch, The Mt Dare Hotel. Next stop is the iconic town of Birdsville, where our plane can taxi right up to the front door of the pub. Where else in the world can you do this? We will enjoy another amazing sunset at “Big Red” overlooking the Simpson Desert.

day 7

Birdsville to William Creek

This morning we will track south west through the Simpson Desert then take in the views of Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre on our way to the remote town of William Creek. Jump on board one of the Wrights Air planes to fly to the world’s largest cattle station, which is bigger than Belgium! Anna Creek Station is also home to the super model of the Outback, The Painted Hills. This flight gives us a unique and spectacular opportunity to view one of Australia’s hidden iconic landmarks with 30kms of sandstone formations, some curvy and soft, others tall and statuesque. The guided walk upon landing gives you the opportunity to truly appreciate the fragility of the landscape and perhaps even see some marine fossils.

 Enjoy true outback hospitality with drinks and dinner at the William Creek Hotel, on the famous Oodnadatta Track.

William Creek to Broken Hill

Enjoy more mesmerising images as we fly over Lake Eyre and The Marree Man. More stunning scenery as we pass over The Flinders Ranges and Lake Frome before arriving in the mining town of Broken Hill.

Explore the dusty streets of nearby Silverton, made famous by the Mad Max movie. What better place to view the golden hour but at the Living Desert Reserve with its massive sculptures surrounded by endless flat terrain.

Broken Hill to Sydney

This morning after breakfast we visit the interactive Flying Doctors Museum in the Silver City. Enjoy the scenery and relax as we cruise back to Sydney.
