The Birdsville Races

Considered to be a bucket list item, the historic Birdsville Races displays the unique Outback culture of Australia. Experience the thrill of the Birdsville Cup race , the fashions on the field and the quintessential Outback Queensland atmosphere.

One of the most remote towns in Australia, this town in South Australia has a vibrant natural beauty and many great tales to tell. The towns name comes from the Yandruwandhana words 'Yini' and 'Mingka' meaning your watering hole.

The town sits on the Cooper Creek lined with river gum trees, with masses of native birds. The Callyamurra Waterhole, another famous landmark also surrounded by beautiful river gums, is home to ancient carvings and rich in history. Innamincka was also a pit stop for the legendary Burke and Wills on their journey through the Outback.

Visit the Mudgee Wine Region

Stop by Mudgee on our way back to Sydney for a gourmet 5 course meal with matching wines.

Mudgee is one of the most beautiful towns in NSW, with its unique architecture, natural beauty and culinary delights. The area is home to over 60 wineries and 35 cellar doors with the history of the wine region dating back to 1845 when the first vines were planted. Experience the fresh produce and organic wine at Lowe Wines Zin House for lunch.
